Collage Envelope Book

Friday, July 20   6:00pm-9:00pm   $40

Learn the art of collage and use your newfound skills to make and take a beautiful keepsake accordian envelope book. The finished book has a unique collage cover and is filled with little envelopes to tuck your treasures into. The books cover will be embellished with dried pressed flowers, multi-level 3-D effects, antique aging, emboss veining, and paper casting. Bring basics and dye ink pads.

In a previous life, I'm sure this book was a great read, but now it just sits on the shelf, with chances being very slim of anyone dusting it off and curling up in a big chair with it.  What do you do with it? Jump into the parade and learn the technique after technique of decorating and experimenting with paper and cardstock. We will use everyday items to embellish and transform plain paper into breathtaking sheets!  Your creativity will soar as you play, and your mind will end up exploding with ideas!  You will go home with plenty of sheets to embellish any project you might have that is waiting for the perfect piece of paper that stands out among the rest.
